Soundscapes (2020)Part of Super OrganismKNURL is a 3D printed, hybrid instrument designed by Rafaele Andrade. Together we experimented on a compostable version of KNURL (except for the electronics) which could return to nature in the end. KNURL was used to create the soundscapes for Super Organism.

This object was made in collaboration with Wilfred Kalf. It contains many elements from the project; photography, sound, scent, the publication and real fungi samples. The soil is often referred to as a ‘black box’, because we know so little about it.&#38;nbsp;
